Developing the Strategic LeaderThis is a featured page

Hi all, Cricket has cleverly put this up. After I read through all of the papers, I will use this to share some of the 'strategic thinking.'

In the meantime, we can use this to start offering questions regarding to the Shogun case. The first question is undoubtedly- how can you get the case? It is in the reserve section of the library :>)

Here is a start ...

Why is patience an important part of leadership and especially for strategic leadership?
Do great leaders automatically emerge when there are turbulent times? If so, why? If not, why not?
Discuss your thoughts on developing a shared vision versus strategic thinking.

RickLaferriere How do we describe our program 1 Nov 10 2008, 9:11 AM EST by AgnSiel

Further to our class brief discussion, I have been wondering how to best describe the Masters of Science in Leadership program and the Global Leadership Program?

This would be for resumes and cover letters when we are applying for jobs and graduate positions.

The Northeastern site describes the Masters of Science in Leadership as:
"Northeastern's Master of Science in Leadership is designed to assist today's leaders and prepare emerging leaders in meeting these challenges."

In the one-liner I drafted I said:
"The Masters in Leadership is a one of a kind program designed to provide skills in developing leadership within individuals and organisations at a global level."

So lets get some ideas out there about how to capture what we are studying and what makes it unique in particular the global aspect of it.

Thanks.
Rick
